How to recover LotusNotes Client when it crashes

There may be a chance to recover LotusNotes from reinstall when your LotusNotes client crashes.
It is a simple way to recover your notes.

All information about your Notes client are stored in "notes.ini" file.

Step 1: Goto your "Notes" directory where your client is installed.
This directory is a parent directory to "data" directory.
Example: "C:\IBM\Lotus\Notes"


Step 2: Now you will see a file as "notes.ini". If any changes made in this will affect in Notes client.


Step 3: Rename this "notes.ini" file and copy the same file(notes.ini) from another machine(from another notes client machine).


Step 4: Now open your Notes client, you will see your notes working perfectly.


Note: Coping "notes.ini" from latest version from earlier version does not   affect anything.
But earlier version to latest version cause some missing of solid features.
